The Ostredok hotel was first time opened in 1981. Since that time it has undergone numerous alterations and its most significant one was the reconstruction in 2009. The hotel is situated at the elevation of 1,000 m above sea level in Jasná at the foot of the Chopok mountain in the middle of Ski Jasná, Slovakia´s most well-known ski center. Only 50 m away from the hotel there is a departure station of a new chair lift connected with other chair lifts and ski lifts.
Anastasiya Kuzminova, the most successful Slovakia´s winner from the Winter Olympic Games 2010, who has in our hotel a permanent room with her name on it, has become the Godmother of our hotel.
